“Defossilization Financing Hour” has succesfully taken place!

On Aug 18th, the first physical event of the newly founded Swiss association ccloop took place. A number of further stakeholders participated remotely. The event “Defossilisation Financing Hour” took place at the seat of the association in Tech Park Basel. Start-ups, investment funds, academia, big businesses, Tech Park Basel, and the canton of Basel City were represented at the meeting. Different technologies and concepts to defossilize the production of chemicals and plastics were presented and discussed. All participants agreed on the great potential of defossilization for climate protection and nature conservation, for technological innovation and sustainable economic growth, for improved supply chain security and the strengthening of the regional workplace.
